EXPO STATISTICAL PROFILE AND ANALYSIS COMPONENT A
This graph displays the death rate per 1000 population. Death rate is important for a country to pay attention to because it also can control the population rate. If the death rate is higher than the birth rate, population will decrease. Usually a dramatic increase in death rates is dangerous. It is important to pay attention to death rates because I could indicate that a country is suffering from some sort of problem, whether it’s hunger, a fatal disease, or any other explanation. This graph shows that France’s death rate has been fairly even throughout 1999 to 2003. In 2004 however, there was a noticeable decrease in France’s death rate. This created quick increase in France’s population. The red bar shows the current world average death rate. As the graph shows, France’s death rate in previous years has been higher than the world average. In 2004 it decreased and is almost as low as the world average.
This graph shows the birth rate per 1000 population of France and the world average. Countries pay attention to their birth rates because they effect the overall population. An increase in birth rates means a need for more resources to support a bigger amount of people. Poor countries need to pay close attention to birthrates, because they may not have the resources to support more people. Displayed in the graph, the birth rates throughout the years were fairly even, except for 1999. From 1999 the birthrates shot up quickly. France was able to manage this well though, because it is such a wealthy country. France’s birth rate in 2004 was just about equal to the world average. This means that it is at a reasonable state, and it wont cause any problems if it stays the same.
In this graph there seems to be a big trend between the country of France and Philippines as the GDP per capita of France is 22,168 US $ dollars and the Philippines GDP per capita is 925 US $ dollars. This shows that the people of France are doing much better than the people of the Philippines as the graph shows. We think that the reason that the GDP per capita of France is better than the GDP per capita of the Philippines is because there is more poverty in the Philippines than France.
In this graph there is a trend because it rises between the country of France births per woman and the Philippines births per woman. This shows that the Philippines have a higher percentage of fertility than France. We believe that Philippines has a percentage of fertility is because that Philippines does not uses protection than France making that Philippines has a higher percentage of fertility rate higher.
In this graph shows a trend that it is descending down between the two countries of France land area of 551,500 square kilometers and the land area 300,000 square kilometers of the Philippines. This graph shows that France owns more land area than the Philippines by just looking at the graph. We believe that the reason France has a larger amount of land area than the Philippines is because that Philippines is like an island compared with France is coastal and almost near the center of Europe.
This graph there is not a big trend between the two countries of France’s percentage of land with forest area of 27.9 % than the percentage of the Philippines area covered by forest of 19.4 %. We see that France has a more percentage of forested land than Philippines. We believe that France has a higher amount of percent is because there is a higher percentage of urbanization in the Philippines than France making Philippines lower in percent in land area covered by forest than France which has a higher amount of forest but a lower percent in urbanization than the Philippines.
In this graph there shows a trend between the countries of France of 3,047 cubic meters of water and the Philippines of 6,305 cubic meters of water. This shows that Philippines uses more water per person than the France per person. Philippines has a higher amount of percentage, because we believe that the location of Philippines is because it is located in the Pacific then France.

Your math component has been viewed. At first glance, it appears to have all of the basics. Nice job. Please allow time for a more thorough review of its contents. Marks will be given to Mr. Dilworth to be added to the Pavilion grade. Take care. Sincerely, Miss Loewe
